Taking a photo of the Route 66 markers in each state is certainly a must do, but keep your eyes open once you hit Los Angeles, as each suburb has styled it’s route 66 markers.
Our favorite is the West Hollywood route marker - naturally the most glamorous and joyfully flamboyant of the hundreds of route markers along the way.
The Beverly Hills marker gives a nod to the famous Beverly Hills sign, and of course Hollywood has marquee light bulbs.
