The Pink Flamingo apartment building is a flamazingly fabulous example of Dingbat Architecture.
Dingbat architecture was a popular and kooky mid-century style, notable, usually for having the apartment block’s name emblazoned on the front wall in a deliriously fabulous font.
The Pink flamingo has all that and more. They have the parking tucked underneath, the usual boxy rectangular shape, and the mid-rise usual 2 or 3 storey size.
But most importantly, it’s PINK - and has a flamingo on the front!
Honey, stop the car!!!!
