The giant fire hydrant is painted safety yellow, unlike its arch nemesis in Beaumont Texas, the world’s LARGEST fire hydrant! That one stands at 24 feet tall and is painted in dalmatian spots. show off.

The giant fire hydrant is not in the loveliest or safest part of town, so perhaps don’t plan to have a picnic under it, or display your life savings and diamond tiara collection until you’re safely back in the car … with the windows wound up!
