Things that make us happy: the giant dog was made by a gentleman named Don KENNEL!!! (please tell me his nickname is Dog Kennel - howl-ariouss!!! round of a-paws!)
The puppy himself is named “Yard Dog”, and lives in a lovely little park in Indio California (after his previous home at 2013’s Coachella music festival)
He is 12 feet tall, 8 feet wide, and 20 feet long, and made from power coated steel and corrugated sheet metal. He originally had a porch swing hanging from under his belly, but obviously that was too uncomfortable for the poor dog, and that is now no longer a thing. (but if you need a shady spot, what could be more tempting than lying on the ground under a giant puppy, which you can still do)
