This fabulous 8-foot-tall bronze statue of Gene Autry, “The Singing Cowboy”, sits at the edge of the Gene Autry Plaza in Palm Springs.
It was made by artist David Spellerberg and was unveiled in 2009.
The sculpture depicts Autry in his costume from 1941’s “Back in The Saddle Again”.
Look for the details in his belt, his holster, his “howdy ma’am” hat, and his spectacular floral cowboy boots.
