El Coyote

If it’s good enough for John Wayne, Loretta Young and Ricardo Montalban, whose autographed pictures line the walls of El Coyote - then it’s good enough for us.

El Coyote, which started as a hole in the wall taco stand in 1931, and moved to its current location in 1951, is one of LA’s most iconic and infamous spots.

Infamous mainly because actress Sharon Tate ate her last meal here before being murdered by the Manson Family (and people have a thing about sitting at the “Sharon Tate table” - errr, not us though thanks very much)

Iconic, thanks in part to that gorgeous neon sign - and more recently for being featured in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood"

The margaritas at El Coyote have been voted the best in the city. we also recommend the guacamole - er mah gah.
