We were drawn to Casa Vega because of its fabulous neon sign, and iconic front hedge trimmed into its initials CV.
Inside we found a fabulous old school restaurant with red leather banquettes, (and flattering vintage lighting) - a fabulous old school bar, if your glamour table isn't quite ready yet - -oh - and also delicious food! They will even make guacamole at your table before your very eyes!
Casa Vega opened in 1956, and today is a legendary Los Angeles landmark, still run by the same family.
Famous fans have included Marlon Brando, who was a regular, and always sat at table 2, Cary Grant, Jennifer Aniston, and even Dr Dre.
Look for it in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”.
